On 27th June, 2563/2020, afternoon, BANGKOK: Most Venerable Somdet Phra Buddhachinawong, former chief abbot of Wat Phichaiyayatikaram, Bangkok and the Ecclesiastical Governor of Central Region, had passed away on 28th June, 2562/2019 when he was 78 years of age. The funeral ceremony was organized by the royal cremation at Wat Debsirindawas Ratchaworawihan, Bangkok presided over H.R.H. Princes Maha Chakri Sirindhorn
On this occasion, Phra Sophonvachirabhorn (Sawai Chotiko), Vice Rector for Foreign Affairs of MCU and his assistant members paid the latest respecting to him. Thousands of member of Sangha and Buddhist devotes were also attending this ceremony.
