12nd-17th September, 2562/2019, MCU:Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University has two occasional events that are 132nd MCU Anniversary and commemoration of the 64th birthday anniversary of Phra Brahmapundit, Royal Honorary Doctorate Degree, Members of Sangha Supreme Council of Thailand, Acting Sangha Governor in Central Division, the Abbot of Wat Prayurawongsawas & Chairman of International Council for Day of Vesak. In this special event, led by Phra Sophonvachirabhorn (Sawai Chotkiko), Vice Rector for Foreign Affairs of MCU and International Relations Division cooperate with the foreign students and committees to show or present exhibitions from different countries and holding the foreign student seminar at the Auditorium Conference Hall, MCU, Ayutthaya.
The exhibition is shown by foreign student clubs as Buddhist traditions, cultures, Buddhist religious sites, their living way of life and symbolic belief to the Buddha as practices of meditations including the countries such as Cambodia, China, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam and Sri Lanka respectively during 12nd -17th September, 2562/2019. They are from different countries to study at MCU as the level of B.A, M.A, and Ph.D.
Moreover, Most Ven. Prof. Dr. Phra Brahmapundit, the Former Rector of MCU, granted scholarships to MCU students (B.A., M.A., Ph.D.,) who currently are studying at MCU, including Campuses, Sangha Colleges, Extended Classrooms, and Academic Service Units of MCU to commemorate the 64th birthday anniversary of Phra Brahmapundit, Royal Honorary Doctorate Degree, Members of Sangha Supreme Council of Thailand, Acting Sangha Governor in Central Division, the Abbot of Wat Prayurawongsawas & Chairman of International Council for Day of Vesak. He granted more than 600 scholarships to the students and offered lunch to over 1,500 monks.
